Frequently asked questions
What counts as a generated invoice?
Every successful POST /v1/invoices — whether UBL, CII or ZUGFeRD PDF. Rejected requests (say, an invoice that fails validation) don't count. Validation requests never count.
What about ruleset updates?
Included in every plan — that is the point of NormAPI. KoSIT updates the ruleset roughly every six months; we track the updates and your integration stays unchanged. The version currently in force is in every API response (X-Normapi-Ruleset) and in the docs.
Do I need a credit card for the beta?
No. There is no billing during the beta — keys are issued by email, free. Paying starts at launch, announced in advance.
Where is data processed?
In the EU (Amsterdam). Invoice content is processed but never stored — details in the privacy policy. A DPA is included from Business, and available on request during the beta.
Can prices still change?
Until launch: yes — this page is a statement of intent, not a contract. What design partners have been promised — free beta and 50% off the first year — holds either way.
